Chanatol

Chanatol oral is for the treatment of acetonaemia (ketosis) in cattle and pregnancy toxaemia in sheep and goats.  Both diseases are as a result of a lack of energy due to an increase in demand on the animal.  Chanatol oral is a glucose precursor providing the animal with a source of replacement carbohydrate.

Dosage:

Cattle: 200ml morning and evening for the first day, followed by 100ml twice a day for 3 days.

Sheep and goats: 100ml daily for 6 days.

Withdrawl period:

Foodstuffs must not be taken for human consumption during the treatment period.

Edible tissues: Cattle, Sheep , Goats - 3 days

Milk: Cattle, sheep, goats - 3 days.
